Solar Eclipse

This mokume gane domed pendant has been handmade and is the only one of its kind. It features a tubular bale and sits on a very long chain, it reaches my belly button.

The mokume gane is an ancient japanese technique used to layer different coloured metals together and work the metal to display coloured patterns within the layers. The final pattern can be gently guided but never controlled so every piece is unique.

This piece is made from sterling silver cable chain and sterling silver and copper mokume gane.
